After graduating from Antioch College in 1976, I have worked as a free-lance commercial photographer since 1979, starting in the Boston, MA area specializing in public relations photography for hospitals.
Since then I have branched out to cover a wide variety of assignments for a diverse clientele, ranging from major corporations, publishers, small businesses, institutions, ad agencies and design firms, artists and craft persons, and families and individuals.
I do photography for web sites, advertising, products, corporate & industrial usage, real estate sales, hotels motels & B&Bs, AirBnB and vacation rentals, restaurants, publications including books, magazines & newspapers, public relations, events and conventions, business portraits, fine art for display, historical and collection documentation, and photography of fine art.
Some of my clientele have included Olympic Medical Center, First Federal Bank, City of Port Angeles, Vertigo Marketing, Peninsula Web Design, Trisa and Co, Elwha Heritage Center, MadDash Co, Peninsula Heat Co, DeLaBarre Construction, Coldwell Banker Uptown Realty, Olympic Peninsula Title Company, Glass Services Co, Wolfley & Wolfey, Olympic Lodge, All View Motel, Flagstone Motel, Papa Murphy's, Baja Cantina Restaurant, Sequim Bee Farm, Kathy Ervin Basketry, David Tinsley Sculptor, Queen of Angels Church, The Crossing Church. In addition to my own clients, I have also done stints as a staff photographer with the MITRE Corp and the 128 Park News in the Boston area, and the University of Colorado in Boulder.
My approach to photography has always been based on combining my creative vision based on a fine art photography background, and a collaborative service oriented approach when working with clients. I strive to offer the highest quality images, while operating in a professional manner, providing individualized personal service, and staying within budget and deadlines.
My style is straightforward rather than trendy, relying on strong composition, appropriate use of lighting, and an understanding of the purpose for each image. Working on location or in the studio, I am comfortable with a wide range of subject matter.
My limited edition fine art prints are available for sale at HarborArt Gallery on Laurel St. in downtown Port Angeles, or you can contact me directly. Many of my images that you see on this website, and many more that are not, are available printed in almost any size and a wide variety of fine art surfaces, including photographic paper, canvas, and metal. All fine art photos are limited edition, signed, and archivally printed and framed. Prints are available framed or unframed, and can be shipped almost anywhere.
If you are in need of high quality creative photographs to illustrate your products and services, promote your business or organization, or simply produce a nice portrait of yourself or your family, please contact me and find out more about my services. My rates are affordable, and I always treat my clients professionally and with respect. I look forward to working with you on your next photographic project.Eric Neurath
